It is with God’s love that I embrace today; for it is in Him that we live, move and have our being. I want to encourage you with the words of James.

“My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worth patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.” James 1:2-4.

All of God’s children encounter trials; which are outward circumstances. They are not pleasant and may be plenteous. But as children of God, we prepare ourselves to conquer these trials with God’s word and through His spirit. The trials of life should refine and strengthen our faith in God, as our faith in God produces patience and endurance; as patience and endurance creates Christian maturity. So my Christian family, “Count It ALL Joy” because “BLESSED is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.” James 1:12

I thank you for being a part of our Pilgrim Family and we hope that you will join us again for we know that when there is fellowship and love in a congregation there is Jesus! God Bless you all and continue to stand on his mighty word.

Warmly,
First Lady Willie Ruth Emery
